Camera app disappeared!
After growing to 5 pages of apps in springboard, I installed an app called 'Categories' via Installer. I've now lost the Camera app and gained a Contacts button.

I uninstalled Categories but Camera is still missing. Is there any way to get the camera app back without restoring my iPhone?

Try downloading Customize, go into the icon organization part, and toggle the little eye next to the camera app icon..

Thanks for the tip cmyk, but, it just seems to hang then quit. I see the splash screen with the funky chicken then it quits.

I might have to restore my iphone :P

update ... Customize opened on my last attempt. I'll let you know how it goes.

Well, Customize didn't really do anything so I went for the restore. And upgrade to 1.1.4 :P

Once again, ziphone made it toooo easy. I did a backup before restoring and reinstalled the backup after the upgrade. I lost all my apps (just junk anyways) and sources in Installer but all my contacts, SMSs and preferences survived. I'm not sure if I should really be restoring my 1.1.3 backup on a 1.1.4 iphone but I haven't had any dramas ... so far.

Now, should I reinstall iShaver

Jeez, I have to fill that 16GB somehow

But my 1.1.4 upgraded phone is far more svelte app-wise npw
