That can only increase distortion by forcing the speaker to go louder

I'm going to poke holes in mine when I can be bothered, it is way too quiet.

Good luck if this makes a difference though

Yeah i use the 1.1.3 volume patch, it's good enough to hear. I tend to rely more on the vibration when it's in my pocket though.

I've used the patch since I've had 1.1.4 and although it seems like theres a bit of a volume increase, I couldn't say for sure that its actually worth the bother.

Guys I found my iphone volume pretty low but i now use the 24 ringtone and its very very loud, you can get it here if you want it

my iphone had no issue with the volume of ringtones, volume of call sounds (speech) was very low, now it is much better

I also moved the mesh covering the speaker hole when I took the bottom cover off.
