1.1.3 iTunes 7.6 can't sync anything
I've been banging my head against the wall over this for the past week...

iTunes can recognise the iPhone, i can access the 'sync' feature, the data transfers but when i navigate to the 'ipod' app it doesn't recognise anything?

Version: 1.13 (4A93)
Model: MB384LL
Firmware: 04.02.13_G
OS: Windows XP (Yes i know it's a MAC forum )
iTunes: 7.6 (Tried 7.4 on another machine also)

Tested with movies + mp3s.

Any suggestions???

Restore as in wipe it then reinstall the firmware, jailbreak etc?

Is this process really as simple as following the instructions available on net?
