whether you think the software update should be free or not is irrelevant. Apple wants to charge $25...you pay it or you do without.

My link above is a statement....if it stays then the mods and MacTalk condone linking to tutorials on how to pirate software. If it gets deleted then by definition they must delete your link on how to pirate the janurary software update.

get it?

back on topic...if you bought a iPod Touch after the software announcement update you would eiother get it with the apps pre-installed or you would get it for $25 less than retail fo an obvious reason.

Alright, all I worry now is about how I can get access to the january software update.. to do so, I'd want to make sure my ipod touch can get back to a completely legit firmware with no corrupt bits behind it...

I want to buy the January update.. so lets go back to topic folks, bickering gets nowhere (not aiming that directly at anyone at all).

Okay I fixed the ipod touch, not it's at 1.1.4 and i got the january update from itunes, $25, but meh! can close this thread now
