Updated to 1.1.3, now Cant get past the Apple logo
Hi All,
Thanks for a great site, I have just upgraded to the 1.1.3 from 1.1.2, after restarting the iPhone is now stuck on the Apple logo. Now and then the busy wheel pops up and then goes away again.

I have tried connecting to my iMac but nothing, it wont even come up on the screen. iDisk cant even see it. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Fix it by entering DFU mode: (copied and pasted from W9cae's thread)

Attach the phone to the pc

Release power but keep holding home until the pc beeps as a USB device is recognized.
At no point will the display come on. Now your restore should work.
Restore to 1.1.3 when iTunes picks it up in that mode. Should fix it all up.

Yep, that'll work aswell. Make sure you download the latest ziphone to activate/jailbreak/unlock it.


(we really should be spelling it 'gaolbreak' in australia, hey. :/ )

I just tried to install the updated australian localisation in installer - received the error 'main script execution failed' (or something along those lines ) - tried to reboot the phone but this caused the phone to hang on the apple logo indefinitely

In the process of restoring the phone in itunes right now . Has this happened to anyone else? what did I do wrong?

EDIT: didn't mean to post in this thread - sorry for the hijack

Worked fine 2nd time around...weird
