Have you done a complete software restore? Do not restore from a backup, do a completely new install of the software.

What software were you running, and what were you using to jailbreak/activate with?

i would suggest looking at this post, nearly every scenario of what you may need to do has been discussed.
hit the search button
good luck with it. No questions are stupid, because the iphone is such an unknown to most of us.

It sounds like its locked again. What version did you upgrade to? If its 1.1.3 then you should be able to unlock is using ZiPhone.

I don't have a problem with that...

But you reap what you sow... and if they outlined what their EXACT problem is, what OS they're using etc.. then it would be replied to with a hell of a lot more enthusiasm..

I'm wondering if a sticky needs to head up each of the help forums for newbies to have a read of.. maybe a 'template' to fill in to help with their post..

I'll do one up later on tonight and post to see if anyone has any other ideas... what do the mods think??

i think these new help posters, are probably not mac users but find themselves in over their heads with technology they dont understand & bugger up and then this place is where they turn if no help is found elsewhere.

I think it's a fantastic idea. Something eye catching... Even a "iPhone issues? Click here." sticky, perhaps. If they can't find it in themselves to search, they just might see that sticky and won't feel the need to post... they get answers they want, we don't get bombarded with iPhone issues!

Krafty, have you blocked me?

G'day... sorry for the double post.

Krafty, have you blocked me from getting PM messages? It says your inbox is full. I'd rather not have to post the message re this thread publicly in the forum

Have a good one.
