Best results are had if you do the message bank number in international number format, that way it works overseas.

Example for Vodafone NZ: *5005*86*+6421700700#

Is anyone else having problems receiving SMS notification of voicemail messages on 1.1.3?

I'm with VirginMobile.

They don't come through. I don't think my iPhone has ever received them. Same with SMS's from the bank.

I get Vodafone to call me (for free) if a message has been left. Makes screening your calls a breeze. I have never received an SMS.

My iPhone used to recieve them back when I was on 1.1.1 using the SMS-Fix, but now on 1.1.3 it doesnt :'( AND IT RECEIVES THEM NOW TOO! It didn't receive them half an hour ago, but it looks like it was just the Virgin system as it all works now perfectly

I did however have poblems with my SMS database... I used a SQLite editor to fix up my database and how that all works now too. It was just the number formatting from my bad hacking in 1.0.2 and then the time-stamps got a bit whacked, but now its all good

[a]Damn![/a] YIPEE!

The only thing I'm waiting for with 1.1.3 is a patched lockdownd file as every time I boot my phone automatically runs a program called Service.app to get signal. I only boot my phone when the batter goes low, so its not that bad I guess... It would be a much cleaner solution with a patched lockdownd file.

For those who dont know the lockdownd file is the extra file that stops non-iTunes SIM's from working in the iPhone, as in it stops any old AT&T SIM from working and only ones that have the iTunes contract.
