Help Problems Jailbreaking and Ibricking my phone
Hi there if any one could offer some assistance I would be greatfully appreciative.

I was attempting to Jailbreak my phone and successfully downgraded my firmware to 1.1.1 but when i went to use the emergency features and get the phone to call itself and place on hold to get the contacts key up it would not allow me to and I had been following all the correct procedures

I then opened up Ibrickr and it said it would downgrade it to 1.0.2ver which i accepted to do. It said it would only take about 10mins to complete and if the program did not complete to restart it. Well after 15mins I stopped the program with the green screen still showing on my Iphone. However then the phone shut down and commenced to reboot itself first the Apple logo appears and then on the screen whole lines of rolling programming is now showing up on the screen for about 5seconds then the Iphone seems to reboot itself back to blank screen after which the Apple Logo appears and then once again all the programming lines continue. This continues to loop in this order continuously, the only way I can stop it is to press both the power and the home key continually till the screen is blank and then remove finger off the power button keeping hold of the home key for a half minute.

As soon as I place the Iphone back into the USB cradle it switches itself on shows the logo and then all the rolling lines of programming then resets itself and repeats indefinitely again.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am at a serious loss and don't know what to do.

Put the iPhone into restore mode (hold down power and home whilst plugged into iTunes and wait for it to come up with "This iPhone is in restore mode) and try again?

Are you in Melbourne? If so, I can give you a hand

hey thanks for the advice on the third attempt it seems to be working ok to go into restore mode think what i was doing wrong was not having Itunes opened up

will try continuing thanks again and will keep you apace of my success at trying to get this phone unlocked
