Hi everyone,

as the name says I am new to all this.
I just got my 1.1.2 iphone 2 days ago and after installing some apps it crashed BIG TIME.
I had no choice but to attempt a restore back to 1.1.1 and upgrade.
Well I got back to 1.1.1 ok but it will not let me upgrade to 1.1.2 no matter what I try and after many hours of surfing and trying I still am no closer.
I have a turbo sim that won't work on 1.1.1 so need to get it updated.

It will go to 1.1.3 through itunes but will not restore from the download of 1.1.2 properly and just bricks me and won't come out of it so have to go and put 1.1.1 back on again and keep trying.

If anyone has had this let me know and how to fix please.

It sounds to me like you went to 1.1.3 via iTunes and that has messed everything up. Not sure if there's a fix... what did it come with, originally (out of the box)? 1.1.2?

Yes it did come with 1.1.2 and by the week it was produced it was week 49 so that is 1.1.2 by what I have read.

Follow this down to step 17

that will get your bootloader back down to the right version for 1.1.1 and 1.1.2. At step 17 you will need to install anysim and run in to get a working 1.1.1 jailbroken an unlocked phone.

then follow this to upgrade to 1.1.2. (as ive found the upgrade to 1.1.2 above sometimes doesnt work well).

Well have tried and tried to get back to 1.1.2 but no go for that so have ordered a new sim solution that says it works with 1.1.1 to 1.1.3 so my phone will work again.

Hope it fixes the problem in 1.1.1 and can use it again as a phone in 1.1.1 instead.
