is there a way to call people with a jailbroken 1.1.2 or 1.1.1 without having to spend extra money on one of those sims

You need to unlock it to call people, so no, if it's just jailbroken.

You'll need one of those SIM solutions.

The only solution is to use either StealthSIM or TurboSIM.
