I have deleted the SMS application from the iphone using iNdependance as it was having issues. I would like to reinstall can anyone tell me were I can download it from

Showing a little manners goes a long way, please remember that As for the SMS app, you'll probably have tom restore the unit though iTunes, right?

Thank you for your response, I am a bit lost on this as I do not want to do a restore in I tunes as I will need to go through Jail break again. I am running 1.1.2 firm ware upgraded from 1.1.1. Has any one any ideas

There is an SMS update in Installer.app which is just the SMS app from 1.1.2.

It was originally put there for the 1.1.1 guys, but I'm sure if you use it under 1.1.2 it will work.

To install it you will need to to add the http://iphone.unlock.no/ repository to Installer.app. Go to the website for instructions on their repository

If that doesnt work then PM me and I can send you a zipped file of the SMS.app, but please try the instructions above first

Thats what I was going to say - u beat me - haha

I have learnt to back up all my apps to zip on my laptop - by ftping them and zipping up.

Same with all the other jailbreak software - as well as all versions of the Iphone software...

Yep, same here.

I got a backup of the whole iPhone System here so if I muck up some preferences modifying something I have one to revert back to

I also have all versions of the iPhone software, multiple versions of Independence, and all the other software I've used.

It really does give you peace of mind
