Woot!!!
All done, and good to go (except dodgy square where E should be).
Man you are a champ!

When in Sydney, let me know, I owe you a few beers.

made/received calls, and same goes for SMS.
I don't use voice mail generally, so not fussed about that too much.

Telstra is the only Telco with EDGE so when your phone is on GPRS you get a square

No problem I might be in Sydney for the open of the Apple Store so visit me there.

Glad you up enjoy

Yikes, I just did the same except I just upgraded to 1.1.2 and all was working when I stupidly went to Aussie unlocks and Australianized the phone with 1.1.1 local settings.

Help!

Now I get the Apple logo and when I go to itunes, says restore but dont want to restore to 1.1.2.

Thanks a lot.

Stuck at apple logo, infinite reboot loop

Dear all,

Could you please help me on this strange iphone behavior?

I ran into a similar problem recently after I unlocked 1.1.2 (upgraded from 1.1.1). My iphone now stucks on the apple logo and then reboot itself after 5-10 mins (infinite reboot loop). What I found interesting is that my itune still recognize and able to sync with the iphone.

Is there anything I can do to fix this problem?

Thanks a heap!!!

Best suggestion is run through the instructions I was given (in this thread).
That was how I recovered my iPhone.

Now deciding if i should try for 1.1.3

So last night my friend accidently clicked "yes i would like to update to 1.1.3" when syncing with itunes.

I bought the phone unlocked from "A-Z Mobiles" and it came with version 1.0.2 and had not been modified.

Now, it basically came up "Incorrect Sim" and then restarted and i get a picture of a cable, with an arrow pointing to the itunes logo.

I have tried to get it back to 1.0.2 but it says "your iphone could not be restored"

I have also tried to restore with 1.1.1 and 1.0.1

I cant get to the "activation" page, it just brings up a yellow triangle

What do i do? I need my phone for business and i am really frustrated!!!!

Regards, Andrew
