Lol I have no idea whats going on, but it says 1.1.4 currently!

I just got his iPhone from the USA today, and was apparently locked to AT&T. I just opened it up 10 mins ago literally.

iTunes will always tell you when a new update is available.

If you follow the steps on the first page it'll be unlocked and updated within the hour

If you had to buy a new iPhone to buy their shiny apps and give them tonnes of money, they'd actually be losing money!

It's a good thing they were nice enough to keep us 1st gen iPhone users up to date

Hey, I've had 2.0 on my phone for around a day and all was working. Just a few minutes ago, the apps that I downloaded from the AppStore will not open. The splash screen loads and then it quits..

Any ideas?

2.0 is buggy as all hell

Reboot your phone to fix the issue

(Hold down sleep/wake for a few seconds, slide to power off then power it back on)

Tried that a few times - I ended up reinstalling all of the apps and that did the trick.

Forget it, its not an issue with the iPhone. I'm roaming with T-Mobile in Frankfurt and the locateme works brilliantly! Huzzah! I can poo poo the paper maps.... until i run out of prepaid credit

I guess its something stupid with my home provider.

I'm running 2.02 on an 8GB 2G iphone
but I've lost the ability to connect to the interenet when away from my home netwrok
And I can't send/receive mail, but my setting are right (I think)
Telstra is unhelpful as it's "not a supprted phone"

Any ideas?
Am I doing something basic and wrong?
