So if mobileme does support personal domains i can get my POP3 email pushed to the iPhone via mobileme and respond to emails with my myname@mydomain.com address?
Is that correct?
Cheers, motef

i've been looking into this 01.com | Zimbra Hosting v.5, Enterprise Consulting & Managed Services for zimbra hosting
apparently supports push email to iphone, sync of ical/AB, OSX friendly. $50 USD a year, bring your own domain.
credit to chris3g at macrumors for putting me onto this!

hence the iphone's implementation of exchange is not "flawless", there are these limitations!

its flawless in the view of mail, contacts, calender which is what the review is based on.
public folder support, server side rule editing from the iphone, notes, tasks and out of office settings would all be nice but considering this is a first release of activesync on the iphone they did a pretty good job of the implementation.

Anyone have any idea why the iphone does not support IMAP IDLE push? iv had my linux server running with IMAP IDLE + Mail and it pushes flawlessly but i cant do that on the iphone which sucks
Any idea if google plans to offer push?
Also its pretty poor that osx server does not support push etc yet they support exchange...good way to sell osx server not!

You may or may not have seen my other posts; I'm having all sorts of problems connecting to my work Exchange server.
Does anyone know of an "Exchange 2003 ActiveSync for Dummies" book / guide?
I'd love to get my work stuff on my iPhone; push would just be the icing on the cake!

if you follow this it will work, exchange 2003 is more of a pain to work with then 2007 they have moved most if it into 3-4 clicks.

I've got the push email working nicely on my 2G iPhone with FW 2.0, connecting to our shiny new Exchange 2007 servers. The only issue that I've got, is when I send an email from the iPhone, it appears in the 'Drafts' folder of my Entourage and doesn't actually send them any where. Has anyone else come across this as yet?

Gday all, long time lurker first time poster. I am by no means overly computer savvy...
Is there any easy way to push e-mail from a Gmail account to the iPhone?
I appreciate your help.

well.. define easy.
basically no.
you need to forward your mail to mobile me and then push!
HOWEVER, if you set your iphone to GET mail every 15mins, its NEARLY push anyway...
