Outrageous. Looks like they didn't even bother to edit. A direct copy.
Suggest you contact them. Should at least state that the information came from MacTalk.

The website has no contact details (I wonder why), so I sent the user on MacTalk a PM, plus a bit of a public lashing to motivate them to remove it.

Hi. I have upgraded from 1.1.4 to 2.0 using Pwnage. All looks good! Nice and unlocked and using my Telstra Mobile SIM.

On the 1.1.4 I used Edge with Telstra and only had to type in telstra.internet in the APN settings. With 2 it seems to be VPN not APN and it requires Description, Server and Account - and password lower down. I can't save using Server only.

Probably being stupid - got any ideas?

Bluetooth Problems with new IPhone in my BMW

I have a new BMW 3 series and purchased the new Appel IPhone in Australia. I can pair the phone with my build in handfree phone system but the phone keeps dropping out hence I can not use it in my car. BMW told me that the problem is the new 2.0 software. Can this be solved ? The system works fine with the old Apple Iphone ( software 1.4). Will trey bring out a new software to solve this problem?

I have a Feb 2008 325i and my new iPhone connects and works perfectly with the new 2.01 software as it did with the 2.0. Try to borrow a different iPhone and see if that make a difference,

I have a 325i from too but does now work at all. Have been to BMW garage and they are aware of the problem, so they say. Apparently the only iphones that work on the integrated system are the one bought abroad....

Can anyone help? I am unable to pair my iPhone with a TomTom 720 GPS unit for handsfree talking. The GPS unit can not find the iphone, but the iPhone can find the GPS. My previous smartphone was able to connect to the GPS unit without any problems. It seems other people online have been succesful in pairing their iPhone with their Tom Tom 720 and I was hoping someone might be able to offer some suggestions. Thanks

I've had no problems pairing my 1st gen iPhone with my GO720. All I did was turn BT on on my iPhone. Then turned BT on on the GO720. The pairing stuff popped up after about 20 seconds and all was good.

Bluetooth pairing problems with second generation iPhone

Hmm, perhaps the bluetooth problem is with the 2nd generation iphone. I wonder if anyone else having problems with their 2nd Generation iphone and forming a bluetooth pairing with their GPS?
