It's just alphabetical now. Not Apple's fault they start with A and Vodafone, a V.
What a coincidence... redirecting people to your store first.

Right, got a couple of questions that EVERY iPhone user needs to know.
iPhone data: There is a heirachy for data priority, and the iPhone automatically uses it:
Wi-FI. If there is no Wi-Fi available, then the iPhone looks to
3G. If there is no 3G available, then the iPhone looks to
EDGE. If there is no EDGE available, then the iPhone looks to
GPRS. If there is no GPRS available, then the iPhone
throws up an error.
The APN setting changes how the iPhone access the GPRS/EDGE data when 3G isn't avaiable, or when you've turned 3G off. If you don't want to incur data usage charges (say if you're on pre-paid or something) you CAN edit the APN to make it invalid. However, you CANNOT edit the APN on a iPhone 3G locked to Optus or Vodafone - you can edit the APN on Telstra.
That's all I can think of for now.

I've got a few stupid questions:
1. Will the iPhone handle push e-mail out of the box for normal POP e-mail accounts? (Like Blackberry BIS)
2. Will the iPhone only sync wirelessly with Entourage via me.com?
3. Will the iPhone sync with lotus notes?
4. Will the iPhone sync with non MS exchange servers such as Lotus Domino Server?
5. Does the iPhone have turn by turn navigation?

Subscription free handsets
I noticed that the FAQ question Can the new iPhone 3G be jailbroken so I can use it on any carrier I like? Has an incorrect answer.
You can get no subscription handsets from Belgium were there is a law against forcing subscriptions.

Yes that is correct though how many Aussies do you know, who can get a hold of a Belgian handset?
We're MacTalk Australia... this FAQ should relate to iPhones obtainable in Australia.

Well actually official unlocking is available (at a cost) through the australian carrier you purchase it from so the answer for that should be 'Yes'. Pay $80 with Optus or $150 to Telstra and your phone is unlocked.

drzeus,
The question (FAQ) is whether or not the iPhone can be jailbroken. And at this stage, the answer is YES for every iPhone and iPod touch model.
Whether it can be unlocked is another matter (3G, no). Non-3G, yes.

Sync-ing on multiple computers
So here's the deal: I have my ringtones and favourite playlists set up on my Mac at work. My apps, videos, podcasts, other playlists and main library at home.
I want to keep the ringtones and playlists from work on my iPhone PLUS add videos, podcasts and other playlists from home. But the iPhone will only allow me to sync to one machine at a time and deletes all my songs/ringtones if I swap the sync from one machine to the other. I can't drag songs to the iPhone like I can with my iPod, either, which is an annoyance.
Any ideas?

How about adding to the FAQ:
information about A2DP Bluetooth. I know the iPhone doesn't have it and I understand a lot of people are upset about this - surely the audio output to Bluetooth headphones is not mono?
educated guesses (as opposed to mine) as to whether full/increased Bluetooth functionality (sending contacts/files etc) is potentially a software upgrade away, and whether Apple has any intention to do so or reasons not to.
