Hi Guys,
Though my shield is not for an iphone but a camera, the product is still the same.

Does anyone have blemishes on their shields. I have three marks which are quite visible and a few other...well they look like little scratches(??).
Perhaps I was expecting a perfect finish and this is normal. Just wondering if anyone else has anything like this with their shields.

Perhaps I just got a brumby pack as the spray didn't spray either.

The only 'marks' I had were tiny bubbles that worked themselves out after a couple of hours.

If there was ANYTHING on the screen before you put it down that could be the problem. An eyelash hair between the shield and the camera could maybe look like a scratch.

thanks for the response guys.

The "scratches" are only a couple of mm long. The marks look like the surface has been scuffed. The biggest about 3-4mm across.

The screen is 2.5" so although they are small they are still reasonably visible.

Is it worth me getting one then zmit? I have a case for mine atm, its the same material as the cleaning cloth, just in a case. is great, but really annoying having to put it in and out of the case constently to avoid damage in my pocket, with my coins, keys and whatever else might find its way in there.

The invisible shield is worth it. I like it for the ability to just use a tissue and water to wipe the iPhone down. I just keep my phone in my pocket, which it occasionally shares with my Nano. The nano is unprotected and quite scratched up, but my iPhone is perfect. No marks on the shield at all.
I would say persist until you get the rear to fit up properly (I gave up and handed it to my wife) as once installed it protects the iPhone really well. You can hardly tell that it is on there, and no fiddly cases to worry about.

the front, ABSOLUTELY. it is definitely very useful. as leon stated, its easy to wipe everything off it with just your sleeve or something.

ive got a silicon case on mine, and just bought another 5 :P (they were $10 who cares)
so the front, combined with the tight silicon case (which at least gives a little bit of protection and a lot more grip) is a pretty good combination.

so how did the back of yours go leon? i was tempted to cut the edges off the back shield and just use it for the back itself, but i figured i didnt need it with teh silicon anyway

and i ONLY have my iphone in my pocket (keys and wallet are in the other one)

(oops.... should probly change my sig now that i HAVE my iphone)

My iPod Touch's IS took about a week before it looked good. The little bits of moisture and bubbles take ages although once they are out, the device looks great!

A really useful tip: If your shield is slightly misaligned with a tiny edge of it hanging over, you can trim it using a sharp razor to prevent it from peeling.

That's a handy tip. But I thought you can't break the IS because it is so durable :P

My missus put an InvisibleShield on her iPhone, front and back, then a cool Gelaskin over the back as well. Easy to put on, looks great, feels great, can't recommend it highly enough.

The Invisible Shield is terrible. I tried applying it this afternoon. Ended up ripping the entire thing off and throwing it in the bin.

Hey ppl I've installed my invisble shield on my black iphone as well and it's been 12 hours since the application. I can still notice bubbles at the back of the iphone and it really annoys me Nothing like the videos by the pros. Anyone knows whether I can peel it off in the future, respray it and reapply it again? Will it still stick?

Chriskia. It won't stick as well as it did the first time, it'd move around.

I ended up purchasing an Invisible Skin copy off ebay for $15 including delivery. Took 2 days to arrive and went on perfectly. And no bubbles. Bubbles will either move their way out or evaporate and stick down within a few days. Remember it takes a few days for it to cure and form to the curve of the phone.

But I absolutely love the copy of the Invisble Skin I've got. After a few weeks of usage, it's lost it's tackyness and is smoother to touch, and looks heaps better than using a silicon case etc.
