 Upgrade to 1.1.4 through iTunes - BabySteps Guide

i have a need to go back to 1.1.4 on my just updated 2.0.1 iphone. I have a feeling the BT pairing issue I have was ok in 1.1.4, but i cant be sure.

any tips/pointers on going 'backwards'?

You're going to need to downgrade your itunes to 7.6 or 7.5 to do so
Then i Believe it's a matter of DFU mode + restoring

can anyone pls help me? I updgraded my phone from 1.1.3 to 1.1.4 and after eveything has done, i couldn't find the installer folder, replaced by the cidia. Does anyone have the same problem like me?

I wouldn't bother worrying namel3ss as Installer doesn't have much on it, whereas Cydia has a heap available.

Why not upgrade to 2.1, works fine..

thanks Scooterpig. And can you please tell me more about how to upgrade to OS 2.1? I'm scared that i might break the phone. Will the phone be unlocked when i updated to 2.1? Thanks a lot man
