Done. Dead simple stuff, although the guide can be changed to state that there is no longer a need for AnySIM, it can all be done from Unlock in ZiPhone, no matter what the bootloader - I did this.

Seems to all be working so far iPhone seems heaps snappier

guys i did a restore to 1.1.3 last nite, and then used ziphone, but after 10 mins or so it just hang and froze, now my phone is just stuck there with the apple logo just sitting there, any one know what i should do ?

Restore to 1.1.3 in iTunes and rerun ziPhone with verbose mode turned on. Apparently 99% of the Apple logo freeze issues are caused by not running in verbose mode; so much so that ziPhone 2.1 now runs in verbose mode by default.
