Ok, we have released StuntMANIA! v1.1.5 which has the follow changes:-

- New and improved steering for better overall performance
- Increased tyre to surface traction.. try driving up walls now !
- Brakes! Yep, B key will apply brakes. Makes navigating tight areas much easier and allows for rapid stopping.
- Overall render speed improvements, up to 10pfs increase on some machines.

I encourage all that though the steering wasn't clean enough to give this version a go and see if you change your mind.

The steering is much more sensitive now so you don't have to be heavy handed (fingered) on the keys.

Also, just as a side note... The lower FPS you are playing the game at, the worse the car is going to respond in terms of steering and traction, so we have included a FPS meter on the interface in the demo now so you can check, and if your fps is less than 40, drop your resolution or quality settings.

Steering is much better at high speed. Frame rates are good aswell on my first gen macbook pro.

I should have taken better note of the old frame rate. Certainly seems quick now though. Steering is great... I can now (usually ) make it to the top of the big ramp without backing off the gas too much.
