Turret Wars - Released!
Before anyone comments... got the OK from Disko!
Sector3 just released its first MAC game titled Turret Wars!
It's a 3D Arcade game where you battle against other AI controlled Gun Turrets.
http://games.sector3.com.au/
There is a demo version too. Please download it and try it out!
Oh, there is also a PC version. Sorry.

That's nifty.
Price is right.
I buy.
(Screen and music industries, please note).
I was No. 1 worldwide for about 30 seconds.

I like it
It's a lot of fun. There's probably some extra stuff that could be added for more fun though.

Network team play would have to be high on the list... with loads of turrets, and maybe some targets that have to be defended.

Ya see... as I said, too many ideas, not enough time. Yes, we will be releasing a multi payer version (no eta) and we have cool ideas for making the current single player game even more fun and exciting. We will also be releasing updates to the single player version for free to registered users.
Also, we are currently developing our second game title :-) Also a 3D arcade game, and also shaping up to be a lot of fun!

Fantastic concept. Much fun, and much room for making it even more fun! Runs pretty darned well on my iMac G4 800mhz machine, which is a surprise! Nicely implemented, too - not too cluttered, like many Mac games.

Thanks Tom,
Means a lot to us that you guys are liking it. Always a stress when you release something you are so close to, and not sure if you are only dreaming about whether it really is good or not!
Cheers :-)

I'll have to give it a whirl ... I'd like to see something that has elements of 'Scorch' and 'Worms'!

Seon - I would say it has an addiction rate of around... 40 seconds. Simplicity. My arse is really sore now.
what I found most amusing was that all the scores had MT members utterly riddled through it - with Marc and others banging away inside the box to top own scores.
Well designed Seon.
Impressive.
