Exclamation iO Play for iPhone (in-car hands free kit)

I'm seriously considering ponying up for one of these bad boys:

iO PLAY-Innovative Bluetooth Music Streaming Car Kit.

Click the image to open in full size.

Does anyone have any experience with the system?

It's the only system I can find which will let me stream music and run hands free calls... If it works, I'm all over it like a rash but thought I would see if any of you geeks had seen one working in the flesh, first...

If by chance it's rubbish, any other suggestions?

The iPhone doesn't support Bluetooth Music Streaming (A2DP) itself - you'll need the optional adapter they sell, but it should be OK for Handsfree.

I can't quite tell how the interface will work with the iPhone - it also doesn't look like you can charge the iPod/iPhone whilst the adapter is connected.

I haven't tried one nor need to - but feel free to let us know how you go.

Regards,
Shane.

The video demos I have seen look good, but they are produced by the manufacturer... Real world feedback is always more accurate. I wish Apple would update the firmware to supprt bluetooth music streaming...

That's probably the deal breaker for me. I often need to charge my phone whilst I'm driving.

For anyone that cares...

The Aussie distributor has just told me that a new version will be released soon which charges the phone as well as the other stuff.

Sweet.
