8GB is definitely not enough - I have one of those - 16GB is not enough either for my music collection - 32GB would just about do me - I am just over the 20GB mark and don't plan to buy any more music because I've turned 40 (a BIG JOKE here - please don't comment).

I am happy with 16gb, but i only have just over 5gb left. 32gb would serve me well, I may never use all of it but at knowing it there would be good.

I'm also perfectly happy with 16gb. I would probably get a 32gb in say a year or two but if one comes out in the next month six months I won't be upgrading. I'm planning on keeping this phone for at least a year hopefully (considering I bough it outright!).

I work for a telco and i can tell you its never going to happen. It takes around 14 months generally to pay the free phone back.

The minute there's a 32gb or 64gb iPhone, I'm heading to the front of the line.

What's your reason for wanting a larger capacity iPhone? Just for taking more music with you, or for data files, or what?

Just curious 'cause I've found the 16GB to be the sweet spot for me, which actually surprised me. Didn't think it would be enough, but it's forced me to actively choose what I do and don't want to listen to, which makes the whole experience better in the end. I've stopped spending ages sifting through a giant library of music to find what I feel like listening to. Too much choice can be a bad thing (well, for me at least :P )

I'm happy with my 8GB iphone on on a 24 month contract as i don't have a big music library. Things may change an in 24 months i might upgrade to the 3'rd generation 124 GB iphone

Not unusual at all, the same happened to me over the last few years. I'm getting a little thin on top and thick in the middle, too.

Cheers

16GB is quite a lot for me as well coz I dont put all music into iTunes library. I put them aside if i dont really listen to them at all.

I have a 8Gb and it's still got 4.2Gb left so I don't need a 32 but then again it would be nice.
