Gripe about MobileMe Push

Hi guys,

I have had my iPhone set to 'Push' data ever since I got it, but have now chosen to also fetch every hour. I have done this because I have found that my day-old-mail that has already been read is just sitting there on my iPhone, with an unread badge. Does everyone else find this?
It's like POP again!

Just my $0.02.

Ricky.

it only pushes new mail notifications, but does not push a notification that a mail has been read.

It doesn't really work as expected, but I think this is mostly in the interests of battery life.

At least you can use yours. I decided to try it the other day and now I can't log in. I've changed my password 4 times already in case I was typing it in wrong, so now I have to wait 48hrs just reset my password.

Its still logged in on my iPhone and iMac but seems to have changed the password for iDisk mapping and the web app.

Hey quick question...

I have just logged into mobileME from MobileMe and have uploaded some photos from my mac to the "photos" section and have published them on there. How can I now view these photos on my iPhone ??

I have looked in the photos section of my iPhone but the photos I have added to mobileME are not there ?

It's supposed to, they specifically stated at WWDC that it pushes states.

I've got all Mail accounts set to Manual now, even MobileMe. I've only got Push turned on for Calendars and Contacts, though, as that seems to work well. I *think* there might be a slight improved battery life, also.

Mine's pushing states... If I have 10 ne unread, then I delete or read them in Mail on my Mac, the iPhone will update eventually (the Mac might take 15mins to sync, or I can sync straight away). Works as advertised here.

I have turned push off altogether, I found that it would work sometimes, and not others. Not to mention use a HUGE amount of battery life. Went from have to charge every 3-4 days to every night.
