Where Can I get an iPhone 3G unlocked in Perth
Dear Guys,
I plan to come down to perth for 3 days from the 15th to the 18th this month. As it is still not possible to get an iPhone in My country yet (Malaysia), I plan to get one from perth. Do you have any idea on where I should look, email or better a contact info of anyone in Perth who will sell this phone to me ? I am willing to pay a fair price for it, more if it can be delivered to me in the Hotel I am staying. I have looked up the Trading Post, ebay but a better site/contac is much appreciated. Thank you

You will need to buy one outright/prepay and then get the provider to unlock it for you, there will be a cost which is carrier dependent.

Your best luck might be eBay as finding one in stock in a store is slim

I am actually looking for a black 16gb iPhone 3G. As I would like to pay and collect it, I was hoping that someone in Perth would make a quick buck and sell it to me while I am there. I am willing to pay the current prices the iPhone commands in eBay.

Would AUD950 to 1000 be a fair price for a 16Gb iPhone 3G now ?

Thats the going price I guess, especially with iPhone prepay supposedly being taken off the market till at least xmas
