I am thinking of buying one. How is the antenna set up in the 3g model? Is it in the same set up. The only issue i have is mine is white and i would have to have a black itena.

Hmmm. If the one antenna is used for both sending and receiving RF, it would follow that such an antenna would amplify the transmitting sensitivity. In other words, you are now pumping out more RF power, and are increasing any potential adverse health effects as a result.

I'm sorry I gotta call bullshit on this product. Unless someone actually had it, i can't see how it works. As someone who specialises in mobile phones and RF it seems pretty suspicious.

When he puts the sticker on just after it you can hear the phone receive a text message. Then when he unlocks it, you can see this message. For anyone who doesn't know, when you receive a text message your phone boosts its signal greatly (hence the longer stanby time than by talk time). Your phone constantly talks to the tower (basically saying i'm here) and when you receive a call or message it pumps up the power to get better reception. This explains seeing the higher receive bars. I could do the same, simply by getting a friend to sms me while I'm putting my "product" of chewing gum on the back.

Maybe its a real product, or maybe not. Until I hear more people using them on an Iphone 3g I'm not going near it.
