Question Vodafone Support

Today I checked my iPhone Vodafone account online and amazed to find a a charge for $40 for data download. I rang Vodafone support as at the time the data download took place my iPhone was switched off and I was asleep. I was told that even with my iPhone turned off it can still be connected to the internet and will download data. I find the impossible to believe. Has anyone heard this.

Maybe they thought you meant, your phone was in sleep mode.

yes in sleep mode Push will still work as I understand it.

One of the reason to turn push off and help extend the battery.

Turn off things you don't use.

Especially expensive data charges.

Look in Settings on how to do this, or talk to Vodafone to bar it completely if this is of no use to you.
