iPhone Saying No Service

HI everyone,

Got my iPhone yesterday, activated it around 5:30pm at home. The sim has sent the text message several times. Everytime I switch it off and then back on it send the message. Still there is no Service. I've tried other Optus sim's, they work but this one isnt working yet.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Both times I've done it, its taken like 2-3 hours but that was during business hours

It literally can take anywhere from 15 minutes to 5 days - I've heard of stories covering all these times - they arn't bullshitting you

assuming you bought it from optus, did you activate your SIM? is most likely the same for telstra and vodafone...

unless it's a port, I don't understand why anyone with a new connection isn't connected instantly. That's how it works with Telstra at least (unless the system is down like launch day, lol).
