iPhone sim backup error - optus
I have a new iPhone on optus. Last night while the phone was on charge I got an SMS saying there was a sim backup error and to call customer support. Any ideas?

When I called, they said the iPhone doesn't support SIM Backup and disabled the sending of that particular text message.

I got it twice on my old phone (had to put the new sim in till my iPhone arrived) and got the failed message twice. The sim sent two messages to my iPhone once I put it in, and told me it was successful. Does that just mean my contacts are saved on my sim?

SIM Backup - HELP
I got my iphone today and had to swap from a 2G sim to a 3G sim and now want to add all my contacts onto my iphone. I recieved a message saying 'To activate and backup your SIM contacts got to SIM Backup on your phone menu and press activate.' I can't find any button that says this. Can anyone help me and tell me where I go?

SIM Backup only backs up what is on the SIM, and because the iPhone saves all your contacts on the phone... it has errors. Best off disabling it.
