1st Gen iPhone Troubles (No Signal)

I'm having a bit of trouble with my first gen iPhone here. The Phone has no signal.

It happened after I restored my iPhone back to 1.1.4 after an accidental upgrade to 2.0. I Activated, Jailbroke and Unlocked (not sure on the unlocked status) it all in one go with ZiPhone and afterwards could not make any calls because of a complete lack of signal.

As far as I know, everything else (wifi etc) all works fine.

I've tried creating a custom ipsw with winpwn to no avail (keep getting error 1604 in itunes when loading it). Tried using iLiberty+ with no success. I'm out of ideas.

At the moment I'm running a jailbroken (with installer), activated iphone with firmware 1.1.4, Modem Firmware 04.05.04_G and my IMEI appears to be in order (01 130....)

Can anyone help, this has got me stumped?!

You too :-)

WARNING if you upgrade a 1st Gen iPhone to v2 you WILL stuff up your phone !!

The following is going to be long 2hrs+ but it does work, you may need to repeat several of the processes.

Please read the complete thread and all links before you try to fix.

Good Luck :-)

No good.
I went through that whole guide and at the end when it was flashing the booloader it said failed.
So I still have no signal.
not sure where to go next.

I read it may have something to do with the network blocking my IMEI. Could this be true?
