here's a question that doesn't relate to the data usage meter otherwise i would have posted in there.

IS it just my phone or does anyone have unusually high usage times on their iPhone?

I have push enabled on mobile me so i'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. but i'm currently sitting on since last charge, 1day 1 hour of usuage to 1 day 16 hours of standby...

i'm guessing that this has to do with the phone perhaps having an open channel to mobile me to push any changes? is that right? my old iphone was never anywhere near that high..

thoughts?

Usage = How long the phone has not been sleeping idle (When it is being used to call, text, play games, surf the net etc.)

Standby = When the iPhone is sleeping

MobileMe usage would not be counted in usage as it is operating in the background.

The usage time is the total time your phone has been active. Doing anything with your phone, even if it does not involve data, will make the time go up.

The data amount is what you should be interested in.
