I get messages from Three wil a mobile number present, not just 'Three'. I don't think the number means anything.
Also, as far as I know 0421 is a number originating from Optus' block.

This almost sounds like it's backing up the whole contents of your iPhone, like the Touch does before the 2.0 upgrade. Maybe it's going to download and restore a patched firmware...

Is it possible you need to restore your phone manually? That's why it backed it up - so you can just whack everything back on there when it's done restoring?
