I've helped Gorgu over PM - the phone was sold to him by JB Hi-Fi as "unlocked". They neglected to tell him that he will have to unlock it through Telstra.

I'd say that Gorgu is more than entitled to some compensation
particularly when the unlocking process calls for an additional $150
