I'm going to phone Allphones in Maddington tomorrow to see if they've heard anything, and to compare what they tell me against what they told you. Should be interesting. |

hey what do u guys think of lodging a complaint with apple? looks like everyone everywhere are experiencing difficulties. in relation to the supply, it boils down to apple. ok so the carriers are still making a complete arse of this too, but apple sure aint helping...
i've been trying to search for a number or an email to lodge a complaint with them too (not just optus)... anyone know of anything?

I would wait until promises to be broken first.
IMO I don't really think 2 weeks is unreasonable especialyl given the amount of orders |

stock got into ballarat (outside of melbourne) @ 10.30 am!

My wife just called the Optus store in Chadstone (Melbourne).
Apparently they have received the 8GB models this morning. 16GB Models might arrive this afternoon, if not, later in the week. Needless to say, anything that comes in will go to rainchecked ppls...

Update - I just got my phone from Allphones- 2nd on the list and they only got 2 16GB black ones in (I think they said they got about 10 phones all up).

Just called Ballarat then, they got a shipment in, but only 8gb unfortunately. They were fairly confident the 16gb would be arriving this week now though.

Which Allphones?
I spoke to Allphones Warwick who originally told me it would DEFINITELY be today, who are now saying "maybe today, maybe tomorrow, maybe Friday".
