Agreed, regardless of what people say, it's really in optus' best interest to fulfil their part of the contract, otherwise no deal and customers go elsewhere.

There better be a shipment for Melbourne tomorrow. From what i have seen on here most people have been informed about stock tomorrow or Thursday.

Coz i not sticking around with optus waiting for 4 weeks. When i hear T-life have stock.

Given that most people have a home number and a mobile with voicemail it should be quite easy to get through quite a few in one hour once they receive stock. The bit that takes time is taking the orders surely and filling out the paperwork.

food for thought. . .
apple took 7 months to sell 1 million first generation iPhones.
they just sold 1 million 3g iPhones in 2 days. Think that might explain some of the supply issues
