I got an OptusWorld raincheck, therefore I already have my contract and my sim, and my month's free internet just sitting there, taunting me... why oh why can't I just go into the Apple store and get a phone from them, seeing as they seem to have plenty?

TIO! call the TIO and complain...they will give you the Optus Customer Relations team...advise them of what has happened...they can either make it right...or let you out of your contract....

the more pressure Optus get from the TIO the better! and the TIO can see that something is wrong when so many people call them...Optus told me they are trying to resolve issues in 2-3 working days, even though legally they have 10 to provide an answer.

Funny that...last Thursday I was happily told my position in the queue...today, they can't tell me where I am, and said that I shouldn't have been told where I was in the queue in the first place! talk about fudging the numbers!

they're tooo long gone puddles...it'll be months before the fallout from this settles lol apparently from what I have read here they are only giving excess stock (I know an oxymoron) to prepaid with Optus, they are keeping all stock for contracts because they have cut off supply so badly.

I just rang up and they said that I was first in the queue... (AKA I can't be bothered, please shut up now) They said they MIGHT be getting some this week. Have a guess what i'll be doing every morning at 9AM

I hope there is still some in the pipes with the global shortage. Otherwise September (*I cry)

Well I was told with certainty by the person at Allphones on Sunday. Monday or at the latest Tuesday. And still no iphone.

Will give them a call to rant tomorrow and see what the deal is make sure they are telling me the truth rather than just guesses to keep me happy.

If no iphone by Friday I am thinking of canceling my raincheck altogether and just waiting till supplies are more plentiful and to see what plans virgin and 3 come out with.
