ARGH!!!
It's not even worth telling you my pathetic ordeal I just had with my Optus store suffice to say I'm not happy, Jan...
Basically the iPhone I thought I had ordered.. wasn't. So I have to go in tommorow and re-do all the forms and wait another "2-3 weeks". Thanks alot fucking stupid young girl who served me.. grr.
So here's my question, oh wise and noble mactalkers.. does the Apple Store still have muchos Iphone left? I think I'll just head straight into the source tomorrow and wait in line and get it then and there..
also any rough idea how long I'll be lined up?

I can give you no advice on the Apple store, save that I had a couple of mates line up for 4 and 6 hours last Sunday and both got one through Optus...you'd need to call...or ring that iPhone team 133 number that is floating around in this thread...and yell at them, maybe they can pull a string to get you closer...make sure you have her name and tell them where you buried the body...one second thought...scratch that :P

Well I joined to search through this thread to see if there was any mention of the Belmont, WA OW store in regards to a delay.
I rang them, and was told that my two black 16G were in and had just been assigned to me.
I'm off to get my new toys!

RC my iPhone 16gb blk on Sunday 20th at telechoice on the gold coast and they have been great they told me that they are getting there shipments every 4 days and that i will have mine next week =D

God bless the storemonkeys. I know the one I bought at has lied to me about where I was in the queue and so it is now a race between them, and the Optus Customer Relations team...who will win? and what will the outcome be? I guess I'll have an inkling tomorrow!

No but i rang the frankston store today. They said you need to sign a contract then the phone will be in store in 3-4 weeks. It crap the whole thing sucks.
We need a plan, to put the pinch on optus and there dealers. I have that plan. Get everyone you know who has ROC an iphone ether it optus telstra or voda. Then everyone send mail to today tonight. Lets put the pressure on them all. Who is with me. |

A friend of mine rainchecked a 16GB white at OW Elsternwick on 12 July and just received the call that they have her phone.
So they are getting more shipments out at the moment at the very least.  |

Well, my 16gb White was ordered on Friday (after a disappointing race to get the last one). Was told to expect some time this week. Called today, am first on the list, and the guy is maintaining I will have it by the end of the week. I hope so.

Hey guys. Need your opinion!
I've had a raincheck with Optus since Sunday July 13, they said three days, it'll be in on wednesday. Its almost a week later... No iPhone!
I called Strathfield today and asked if they had any and they said they need to do the raincheck thing, but she said it would only take a couple of days to get in and i get a FREE car charger and cover for it from them!
Should i wait it out with OW or should i cancel my signed plan and head on over to Strathfield.
Kind of had a bit of a law background and Optus have breached the Trade Practices act on three counts in this case so i dont think it'll be a problem getting out without the penalties
What should i do?
