I rang Optus World in Wagga Wagga this afternoon.
They told me they were expecting a delivery today but it hadn't arrived, so it will probably be tomorrow.
They weren't sure how many White 16Gb they will be getting, so depending how far I am down the list I may miss out.
Damn working launch day.

Well, They said they didn't have stock, but we went in and they told us they did but they hadn't unpacked it.
Naturally, I made them unpack it and I'm holding a 16gb black iPhone |

So most of you guys that are getting your phones today and tomorrow ordered them on launch day? ie Friday 11th?
I didn't order mine till the day afterwards much like you clanger21. I was working too! ;(

1 - mine ws rainchecked first thing on Friday Morning
2 - That they didn't see the urgency in everyone wanting them and hadn't bothered unpacking them.

WA WTF! Mandurah, Warwick and Maddington get them, but not the shops in between! This makes no sense geographically, chronologically (my raincheck was 9:30am on 11th) or alphabetically  . Perhaps we are suffering at the whim of the courier company.
I'm also wondering when my middle-class guilt will kick in.

I just ordered mine in Bendigo, Vic. Guy there said the last batch was 3days. But said anything upto 2weeks. But they could be there tomorrow. Either way I can live with out it for another 2 weeks.
