I rang my Allphones today in Bunbury, WA (on the pretense that I'd missed a call and was hoping it was them; I hadn't actually, but I didn't want to sound like I was pestering haha - so sad). She said they will be coming in in the next few days, and sounded pretty confident (better than the "anywhere from a day to a month" guess on Monday). So if regional centres are finally being stocked I'd say everyone should get theirs by Friday I hope!

Did that put Optus logos on the browser. When i get mine i going to say i want to activate it at home. Can not see the problem, The stores in the U.S and the U.k did not activate them in store. But, Then again it did course the itunes server to go into meltdown. |

hey all, i called up my store just then (strathfield, modbury, SA) and they said that they WILL be getting theirs in tomorrow, usually before 10 am, however they have only ordered enough to cover the rain checks (lucky for me I am number 1 on the list!
so i should have a shiny new 16gb black iphone in my hands tomorrow  |

Yes. Since they said this morning around 3-4pm, I decided to ring at 4 and see. They received them around 3.10pm apparently.

Optus on Crown Street Wollongong are now saying the rain-checked orders could arrive...any time. That's a bit of slippage since Friday, when they were confident that they'd arrive within the week.
