Anyone out there recently received an iPhone ordered via SMB on the phone?
Ordered 16 gb black on 24th Jul, it's getting on a month, have been told September, but i'm hoping sooner .. |

hehehe i signed up yesterday and they said that my 8gb should be in by Friday or Monday and i got it today

I ordered my iPhone with Optus SMB on 11 July and had it before the end of the following week.

I'm still waiting for my 16GB White which I was told a week to 10 days, so it should have turned up by the end of last week. But still, almost end of this week and nothing.
Still, can't complain when countmacula is coming up on a month of wait.

they said that there would be atleast a four to five week wait for a 16gb iphone minimum. aus wide ??

This sucks Im annoyed at optus. I have only been waiting a day or two and are getting restless.
Im going to call tomorow just incase my phone came in early by some chance. Wish me luck guys
EDIT: I called and they have no idea, actually they have no f***king idea about anything. Optus are so unorganised.

I strolled into the Optus store in Parramatta today to order one expecting a 2 week wait and got it on the spot!
16GB Black, $59 yes Cap

I drove down to Penrith and got the 16GB black on the $59 optus cap today. They had a huge order of phones come in & had heaps in stock. While I was there they sold 3 iPhones!

Got sick of waiting for Optus prepaid. Purchased a 16GB White outright from JBs last night. Right now I have a very expensive paperweight as the unlock guys don't work weekends >_<
Will get my deposit back from Oputs and purchase a prepaid sim next week after my unlock. More waiting!
