Just called my Optus World and ask if stock was going to arrive anytime soon, she said she doubted it. At least she was honest. I might cancel it and try to find another store.
Edit: Just called a straithfield store, they said the wait would be 20 - 40 hours seems a little suspicious to me. The store are in the same suburb and im getting two completely different answers..

I got a message from Allphones Manager saying that the phones are being sent today for those who din the raincheck last friday. But not sure about the quantity (as not all who did the raincheck will get one). Hopefully it will be over for me later today or tomorrow.

Just signed up with Optus at 12:45pm today. I was told a week, maybe 2 for a 16GB black.

Well here was a surprise, they got 2 x 8GB iPhones, that was it in todays shipment after I was promised one for today. I've now been told that they are expecting a shipment for Friday and it'll be available sometime next week.

Just spoke to optus darlinghurst in Sydney, they got a shipment in today. I was rainchecked on a 16gb black last friday - he said probably will get a call today.!!

just rang optus world and they got 8GBs in today, expect 16GB by the end of the week

For anyone in canberra,
Just got of the phone with optus Belconnen (optus world) and they said shipment is still due on friday. He said he wern't sure how many they were getting. They also said they will be giving them out in order of the time/date contract signed.
