I set mine up yesterday and wasn't able to immediately check how much credit I had used... but this morning it shows me what calls I made, how long they went for, what it cost, etc.
cool thanx, ill call up and ask for my billing account number.

I am interested to know, how did the 1474 kb of data shown on your account compares to what is shown on your phone?
Still waiting for mine to be set up

I rang earlier and they said it takes 48 hours from the time you create the account til you are able to access the service, ie usage data etc, although looking here there have been people that have gone past 48hours and nothing has happened.

Yeah - I got the same message yesterday after I had set it up and now it lets me access it. Weird.

ETA: The usage metre on my phone is about the same for the Optus online usage metre.

Because the call usage is calculated for both send/receive I'm not sure if this will be useful to compare to your Optus bill.
