Safest way to clear iPhone 2G for selling?

I've got an unlocked and jailbroken iPhone that I'm selling on eBay. I'm going to need to clear all my info off it before I send it to the winning bidder, so I'm wondering what the safest way to restore it is? I think I used iJailbreak and then Ziphone back in the day, but should I get PwnageTool instead? I just want whatever's going to do the job quickest and safest. I can't be bothered spending hours fiddling around with it.

Any suggestions would be great.

Cheers.

Nah, it's running 1.1.4. I figure if the Dev team releases their new PwnageTool before I sell it, I can easily update.
I would restore it with iTunes, but I already downloaded the 2.0 update, and it keeps wanting to install it... So I've lost the original 1.1.4.

Cheers. I've just found that. So I should just use it with PwnageTool? Is that the recommended method?

from what ive read, ziPhone from Zibri is just a copy of Pwnage/ a recode of the UI.

so yes, go with Pwnage, it is the most commonly used and best recommended method.

i have the same thing to do before sending mine of to its new owner.

But i thought Id mention that pownage doesnt totally clean out the complete file system. It restores the file system to what the standard intsall of the os looks like, when you add apps they create their own folders / settings which persist despite up / downgrades... at least thats what ive found

or what that just have an adverse affect?
