Where are the optus hotspots?!??!?!

Ok am in Brisbane...new iphone....
went to the optus site and they have this list..
here
as am in brisbane and am working in the city i only have
  1. Brisbane Stamford Plaza Brisbane, 35 Edward St
  2. Brisbane Optus World Brisbane, 131 Elizabeth St
  3. Brisbane Optus Business Centre, 12 Creek St
  4. Brisbane Hudsons Brisbane, 3/201 Charlotte St
  5. Brisbane Hudsons Queen Street, 345 Queen St
to visit..
well...
1 -> There is no optus wireless hotspot!...
2 -> havent checked but there is no optus world there anymore so doubt it..
3 -> There is no Optus Business Centre at 12 Creek St
4 -> There is no Optus wireless hotspot...
5 -> Signal too soft...!!

My only other place which there might be might be the Queen St mall Optus World..
So...basically this thread is to point out where are the optus hotspots?!!
before i leave i will check the queen st mall optus store to see if they have a hotspot.

There's only supposed to be one in Canberra, near the GPO on Moore Street. Will try and check it out when I get my phone.

Is there one at their store in Queen St or is that number 5?

Looks like an outdated list considering they still have Optus World on Elizabeth St on there.

Edit: Yep - pretty outdated...

Doesn't look too good for Brisbane...

I tried to log in to one at Hudsons Bourke st Melbourne - sign in screen takes you to an iphone page that asks for your mobile #. then it sms's a verification link - then you input phone # and password - then I got invalid id message. When I tried the process again it says my mobile # already has an account but I could not log in with it - says temporarily not available try again later.

Hope this starts to work as Azure has links via Optus as well and I want those to work as there are lots more of those than Optus hotspots. Has anyone successfully got into an Optus wi-fi hotspot?

I gave up on hold on the Optus help line.

That's what I found in my research - only 2 Queensland Optus wi-fi hotspots, one at each of Brisbane's major airports, less than a kilometre apart.

I try to do all but emergency data at home.

1. Go to hotspot, navigate to Settings > Wi-Fi and select the 'yes optus' network.
2. Start Safari and load any page. You will be redirected to a signin screen.
3. Below the login section there's a link to sign up for access. Click this and enter your mobile number on the following page (the "step 1" page).
4. You might get an error message - in my case, it took a while for my account to be moved over to the iPhone plan (about ten days or so, but that was after launch so hopefully it's quicker now). Otherwise you'll get a link sent to you via SMS. Click this and you'll get the step 2 page, where you choose and confirm a password.
5. Voila, you have access.

This worked just fine at the Hudson's on Flinders Lane, and should work at any Optus hotspot.
