iPhone complaints & things not quite right
no sms character count
no deleting individual sms
no sort sms according to date received/sent (from all recipients)
no standby indicator (flashing green light in windows mobile devices)
keyboard bit temperamental (may get used to it though)
google maps doesn't rotate maps while driving
notes doesn't let you draw with fingers/stylus
any others?
all other aspects are excellent - safari zoom in/out, integration with 3G (push), apps store (potential), screen quality/sharpness/vibrant, sound, ipod features. overall 9/10.

Google Maps doesn't rotate while driving because Google Maps is not Navigation Software.

can you add a note while talking with someone eg. to type a phone number/name? - possible
can't customise the home screen (add/remove icons) / reorganise icon order - fixed but cant hide system icons (youtube/iphone) unless putting on a new home screen

Just press the Home button while in a call to get full access to the rest of the phone. Tap the flashing green bar at the top to return to the call.

Yes, you can. Press and hold any of the icons, until they all start to "wiggle". Then you can move any of them around, and to your next home screen. |
