Had my first issue with my iphone today. Was playing on the net with it and, it decided to turn it self off. I was able to turn it back on right after but it scared me a bit.

Any one else have that happen?

the three times a day crashes are getting really annoying as is the dreaded SMS slowdown. I sure hope the promised 2.0.1 (or even 2.1) helps.

I cant seem to send emails when you have attatched a link, photo or anything else. eg. it crashes when you send an email from the youtube app. Much like how it crashes when I try to send a photo from it.

Does the screen stay black, or when you move the iPhone away from your ear does the screen come back on?

Sounds like something is blocking the proximity sensor.

I believe the sensor is next to the speaker. I had a leather case on my phone which covered the sensor and confused it. I had it go black for no appernt reason the fail to re-light when moving the phone away from my ear. Removed the cover and now it works as expected.

open your missed call list, and try to call 'your self' from the list.
