IT doesnt have a blue ray drive
In all seriousness the OS seems sluggish next to the itouch and the installing of apps over wifi/cellular seems to hang for 30seconds once its installed
Other than that its awsome

Just move them to another home screen and you'll never have to see them again if you don't want to.

I am not entirely sure but the developer Mark/Space had a program for the previous gen iPhone that could do some cool stuff like what you want. Maybe it will work with the 3G version
The Missing Sync for iPhone - Synchronize Mac OS X and iPhone
When I get my iPhone and if it supports version 2.0 I will for sure get the missing sync. Have everything backed up. That's awesome.

The SMS issues are a perfectly reasonable complaint...
I frequently go over 160 characters and try and cut back or make the most of a second lot. Not knowing is going to make controlling myself a LOT harder.
Would it really have been so hard to show "1/2", "2/2" etc.?
Then again... it's a minor issue for something that's been gobsmacking me by its brilliance for the last day and a half.

Hopefully lots of these minor software issues (like the SMS count) will be rectified by 3rd party patches.

I'm with you on the keyboard request. How hard could that be to implement and what would it take away from the iPhone experience? Nothing...
