silly question. How does one keep the CAPS button one? I've tried double-tapping and holding onto the Shift button to no avail.

I could be wrong I don't have an iphone but is there an arrow up button which switches between lower case, upper case, numbers etc? Bottom right of the keyboard.

Quick tip - press the shift arrow and leave your finger on the glass and then slide your finger to the letter you want caps then release finger.

Cheers. Found out on their userguide that you to enable CAPS on then double tap. Still not working. Discovered you can keep your finger on Shift key and type away with other finger and out pops the word all in CAPS.

not one of my 4 non-Apple usb outlet chargers work dammit grrrrr - like to keep one in the office, bedroom work etc - seems I can only use the Apple supplied one! You'd think if they have a USB outlet they'd work!

Today was my first outing with my iphone. I went into the city and i noticed a few problems, well more miner issues.
1) the gps has a lag time a few seconds before the little blue dot catches up with you.
2) some reason in direct sunlight the touchscreen can get a bit unresponsive.
3) If someone else is holding the iphone and there looking directly at the screen and you go to touch one of the icons from a angle again the screen is unresponsive.
4) Not really a problem but more to point out. If you let someone play with your iphone make sure they don't open and close apps to fast as this can course a lock up. Happened to me today was showing a friend. She was opened and closed all the apps to fast and my iphone locked up for a few seconds.

Sorry a random newb question if I may, search doesn't work for me atm and I can't be bothered to read through all these pages, so...
Just wondering if the iPhone supports speaker/headphones so I can make calls without holding the phone to my ear? Or would I need to get a splitter cable, I guess that would be pointless.
Also wondering if earphones with forward and backward music controls are supported?
Thanks

Easy solution: settings>keyboard>enables caps lock
Then double tap on the shift key enables caps lock

The ear buds you get with the iphone have a mic in them. So if you have music on, the music will mute you hit take call and the ear buds turn into a headset. As far as i know you can only control the iphone with the controls on the phone.
