Yes. I could live with that.

A bunch of suggestions I just sent through to Apple:
Apple - iPhone - Feedback
A few suggestions I'd like to see in the next firmware release for iPhone 2.x...
1. SMS character count
2. Ability to clear recent calls individually
3. Ability to clear a single SMS individually, rather than having to clear a whole conversation trail
4. Ability to customise preference for Home button double click setting
5. Introduction of a Home triple click preference
6. Ability for Safari to cache pages - THIS IS A MUST!
7. Ability to unsync/remove factory Apps - eg. I have no need for Stocks

Can't you turn that off in Settings > General > Location Services?

Sounds something like a vertical stripe issue on Macbooks recently

mobile phone companies don't want you caching maps and web pages. Think about it.

Haha, yes, I realise that, but that doesn't mean I don't want it introduced.

No need for 1am emails
I would like the option of being able to set the times when the iPhone fetches emails and when it doesn't. Example, check every half hour between 8am and 1am and don't check at all between 1am and 8am.
It would stop it going off through the night (when I am not going to respond anyway) and might save those precious few minutes of battery life.

That's a good suggestion. Also longer intervals than 1 hour would be good too, for light email users like me.

i'm just a fan of different dock options, for example being able to choose from the current one and the old iPod Touch dock. That dock was brilliant and reflective
I think I'm gonna file a bug report about it and see if I can't get some attention to it higher up

Am I missing something or can you NOT forward sms messages? This sucks if I am right?
Also is there any way of sending contacts via sms, ie Vcard?

I would like to see an indicator at the top of the screen to show when the phone is on silent. I use this feature a lot but don't notice that it's on/off so a little silent symbol up the top would be great

My battery indicator is playing up - shows 100% charge when I've been using it half a day. If I turn the iphone off and on again it then displays a somewhat depleted charge.
Anyone else get this?

Yesh got caught out with this too many times.. There is no way of knowing you have the switch in the "silent position" apart from looking at it so they should do what all other phones do and show an indicator at the top to remind you that you have silent mode on.
