Case-mate have a new case called Vroom.
Makes the back the iPhone look like a tyre. I'm not one for cases usually, but as I work in the auto industry, I might just get this one to use at work.

Got one of these today (it's not as big as it looks in the picture):
3.5mm Headphone MIC Adapter Adaptor for Apple iPhone - eBay Cable Handsfree, Personal Handsfree, Mobile Accessories, Phones. (end time 28-Aug-08 23:03:20 AEST)
$6 delivered and the button works exactly the same as the genuine headphones to (i.e. play/pause/answer/double-tap to skip songs).
Makes a mockery of Bose's ~$50 offering which doesn't even have a button!
Cheers,
- Febs.

Hi Guys, am thinking of getting the dock for the iPhone.
However, one question, does anyone know if the classic 80gb would fit in the dock?
Was thinking of getting the universal dock and the iPhone 3G adapter, but I cant justify the costs of the adapter. 11 dollars for a small piece of plastic just does not agree with my fragile sensibilities.
So if the iPod classic does indeed fit into the iphone dock, I'll just get that at 35 dollars instead.
Thanks guys!

I have the iPhone 3G dock, but am unsure if the classic iPod would fit as I don't own one...it probably won't be able to stand though...as it is thinner than the iPhone...or stand quite precariously...
I bought the Ultimate Ears super.fi 4vi - the headphones decryption is bulk buying for us...need some headphones that can be a handsfree kit.

It doesn't explicitly say it supports the iPhone on the box, but it works fine (although everytime you plug in the iPhone it asks if you want to go to Airplane mode, you can just click 'No' and it still all works OK). Charging the iPhone seems fine too.
It comes with heaps of different adaptors to hold all sorts of iPods - I found using the iPod Classic adaptor plus one of the included rubber pads holds the iPhone perfectly.
Wasn't going to buy it until I realised it also has audio line out (in addition to the FM transmitter).
Oh, and by the way, hello people (*waves*) - I've been a long time lurker, now a first time poster!

Thanks for the tip.
I just checked my local OfficeWorks and they have them - discounted to $89 now.
Cheers.

Do you have a black or white iPhone? I have a white one and it did have a BSE on the rear, but the corners become very dirty and then look tatty, waiting on my replacement invisible shield to see if that is an improvement.
